AMES MEMORY
My AMES memory would be when I was a freshman and I was taking Geology. There was a group project assigned and I knew my group a little bit but not really well. I noticed that they wouldn't really work. After we decided a topic none of my group members were doing anything. They would show up to class and just sit there. I started working and the project was to make a video. I was afraid I haven't done anything like this and I didn't know how to do it. I ask Mr. Ramsey if he could teach me. He set up tutorials on how to do the things we needed to do. I started working on the project and was really doing well. After having all my group members speak on camera I put the video together. When I was making the credits I asked Ramsey if I should put their names on it because they didn't do any of the work. I remember Ramsey telling me that it was a group project and they didn't do any of the work and you might have given them all A's but you really learned how to do it and next time you will be prepared but as for them they will just take the A and feel accomplished. Ramsey told me to remember that in all of my group projects to be involved so you aren't left behind.
